【Notice】 Regarding the introduction of an entry fee for high visitor volume days at the Former Retreat of Tomomi Iwakura
In the interests of maintaining the Former Retreat of Tomomi Iwakura and keeping it open to the public long into the future, and based upon Kyoto City’s revision to the Ordinance on Murin-an and Other Areas (promulgated March 2022), the Former Retreat of Tomomi Iwakura will introduce the following entry fee system which changes according to the time of year. We request your understanding with respect to this new measure.

[From July 10] The Rest Area Will Be Serving Coffee And Tea
The Rest Area at The Former Retreat of Tomomi Iwakura will have complimentary coffee and tea starting on July 10, 2016.
Please enjoy a refreshing moment of the garden view with with a tasteful cup of coffee.
Starting in mid-July, we are planning to conduct various workshops and events.
